  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
